hello beautiful, i’m sophie. i’m 16 years old, and like any other teenage girl, i have insecurities. i am working from my head downwards and trying to combat the hate i have for certain parts of my body.

one of my biggest insecurities is my eyes. i has born with something called heterochromia, which you can read about here. i have one blue eye, and one brown eye. as a child, i thought nothing of it, and nobody ever pointed it out. but when i started school i was bullied for it. people used to see me as ‘weird’ because i was different. i used to get really upset, and take out my anger in bad ways. now i’m older and i’ve matured more, i see that being different is a good thing, rather than a negative one, and i now turn my anger into passion. passion for helping people who need a shoulder to cry on because they themselves have been picked on for something they cannot help.

i’m working hard to try and love myself a little more, and this is being made much easier with the help of the most precious person in my life. he compliments me all the time, and i love him. i know that some of you reading this may think ‘i don’t have anybody like sophie does.’ i know that i’m very lucky. if any of you ever need anyone to talk to who will try their best to help you, and never judge you then i’m right here. it’s your stories that have inspired me to try to love myself more and to post on here, so thankyou very much, you’re all beautiful.
